I noticed that Spanish banks are really slow, so I decided to get an account with a non-Spanish bank. This has made no difference. Nearly every time I go into the branch I am kept waiting for between 30 mins and almost an hour. Today I had to wait for 45 minutes to complete a simple transaction. There is only one poor woman who serves the clients and every one else who is visable is walking around slowly, sending personal text messages and generally not doing too much. The employee I complained to actually had the nerve to look up at me as if I was wasting her time. Unreal! It's really insulting to be kept waiting when there are staff available, but only one poor employee deals with the general public. Of course you would understand if they were busy, but these guys are not in any rush and that is visable. It is amazing how the staff have time to send personal texts and stand around lethargically by the photocopier, but not to serve there clients. They would do well to remember that we are their bread and butter. I am 50 years old and have lived in 4 other EU counties, but today was the longest time I have EVER waited to be served in a bank in my bloody life! I have my own business and do not have nearly an hour to get served in a bank for a simplistic transaction. This bank is only open in the mornings because they do the paperwork in the afternoon. So why don't they serve their clients in the morning instead of making them wait for an eternity? The message from DB is clear: The customer doesn't matter, and you can waste almost an hour of your day to do business with them. Thanks DB! I'll be writing to the head office in Frankfurt and looking for a faster way to bank.

It makes me indignant, to say the least, that when requesting an Account Certificate, they literally force me to have to go to the office in person, despite having a digital signature. Being in the year 2023 and despite encouraging the use of mobile applications to avoid in-person procedures, I cannot conceive of having to go to the office for such a simple procedure, with all the inconvenience that entails in my case. Likewise, a fee of €21.78 is charged to certify that you are the owner of your account. To inform you that the other entity with which I usually manage, ING, of course, sends me the Account Certificate by mail at the time of the telephone request and oh surprise!! No payment is necessary for such a procedure. Logically, my relationship with you ends here.
